  21. It depends on how you have your ISDN connection set up.
  22. In most cases you will use ISDN as a wire for a TCP/IP connection.
  23. In which case Kermit software will work just as it always does
  24. over the IP network.

  26. The other way to use ISDN is as a digital telephone.  In this case
  27. you would need to be calling another number that is also an ISDN
  28. number.  When used in this manner the ISDN drivers will provide a
  29. virtual COM port driver.  Kermit (or any other communications 
  30. software) would then talk to the ISDN modem via this virtual COM 
  31. port.

  33. So the answer is 'yes' whichever way you want to do it.  Kermit
  34. does indeed work with ISDN.

  36. Whether you want to do it depends on how much money you have to 
  37. spend and whether or not it is available in your area.
